2. Using a putty knife, or similar tool, release the quarter glass run channel clips and remove the channel by pulling it straight up out of the quarter. Fig. 34 shows the clip locations.

Replacement operations are the reverse of the foregoing with one exception. After the glass has been placed in the opening, the regulator rear arm cam washer should be installed in the sash channel first.
Rear Quarter Glass-Cabriolet Removal
1.   Remove the window sill garnish molding.
2.   Remove the rear seat cushion, trim pad cover­ing top operating mechanism, and the rear quarter trim pad.
3.   Remove the window swivel screw "A" and the two screws "B," Fig. 36.

3.   Lower the glass, remove the regulator handle and quarter trim. Remove the screws attaching the cam channel to the sash channel through the slots provided in the quarter inner panel.
4.   Tip the top of the glass toward the inside of the car and lift it up out of the opening.
Replacement operations are the reverse of the foregoing.
Rear Quarter Glass-Fleetline Aerosedan Removal
1.   Remove rear seat cushion and back cushion. Remove quarter window garnish molding. Lower the glass.
2.   Remove arm rest assembly, quarter window regulator handle and quarter trim. Remove the cover plate from the slotted hole in the quarter panel.
3.   Remove the glass run channel by using a putty knife to force the channel and clips (attached to channel) toward the inside of the car to re­lease the clips from the window opening. Pull the channel upward at the front to disengage from spring clip at belt line, then pull rear end of channel upward out of retainer below belt line.
4.   Turn the glass up until the cam washers on the regulator arm are in line with the hole in the inner panel. Tip the glass inward at the top, disengaging the forward cam first and then the rear cam. Lift the glass from the opening, Fig. 35.
