6. Slide
Mounting Bracket "B" over Shaft "F" until it fits snugly into Lamp Arm "H" (see
figure 168). Slip Spring "I"
over Shaft so that small tang
on Spring is farthest away from Bracket "B." Compress Spring "I"
until small tang fits into
hole in Shaft "F." |
This automatically holds Bracket
"B" in place with correct
tension.
7. Slip Gasket "K" over Shaft,
and rotate Lamp Head until Racks
protrude from Shaft to equal
lengths. Tie Rack ends together with string or rubber band, then
put Shaft "F" |
