2. Install windshield washer pump from
engine side of dash panel, with
hex nut and flat washer installed and as far down threaded shaft as possible. Push threaded shaft
through dash panel and mat.
Thread special 7/16-20 nut on shaft from passenger
side |

of dash
panel and tighten until small end of nut is even with threaded shaft, tighten
hex nut nearest dash panel on engine side until pump is held securely. Install on shaft
small diameter end of spring,
then push button, (see figure
230).
Drill hole
for windshield washer spray nozzle assembly as shown in figure 231.
