4. Install the housing cover bolts, eccentric holt and eccentric sleeve in the housing. The ad­justment of the steering gear should be made in exactly the same manner as described under the heading "Adjustments."
When replacing the steering gear in the chassis, the distance from the horn contact ring at the top of the mast jacket to the shoulder on the steering wormshaft should be checked and adjusted as necessary. This measurement should be 1-1/4". The mast jacket should be moved up or down to secure the above measurement, then tighten the mast jacket clamp.

On the Fleetmaster and Fleetline models the horn ring contact is adjustable by loosening the horn ring clamp screw. Fig. 11, and turn­ing the steering wheel lower hub housing, Fig. 12, as necessary until the desired horn blow­ing ring contact is se­cured, then tighten the

ings, install the gasket and steering gear housing cover.
NOTE—During this operation care should be taken to make sure the sector shaft adjust­ment screw is backed out and that the housing cover is installed in such a way that there is clearance between worm and sector roller.
