1950 Chevy Styleline Wagon

This car was bought from a car lot in the late fifty's by my uncle who owned a gas station. Around 1965 he had the car painted and removed the wood decals.  My Uncle said the car looked like a Easter basket going down the road.
In 1999 my uncle had a stroke and lost his eye sight. He had seen my 1954 sedan and being a wise man, he gave the wagon to me. It's in great shape.  I drive it on Sundays and Holidays. Just put in new wiring and a new clock face.
I have searched the web to try and find a wagon like it to get some idea what it might be worth, but with no luck.

Hope you enjoy the pics.

1950 Chevrolet 2 Door Bel Air

Here a fine example of an unmolested well cared for Bel Air. Everything works as new including the extras and add-ons.  This car was owned by an elderly couple (original owner/buyer in Cheyenne WY) who took very good care of the car.  It has a 235/ PG, with fog, spot, back-up lights, blinkers, radio, horn ring, W/S washers and leather interior.

After Refurbishing

After we bought this classic, we took it apart, sent the stainless and chrome for rework.  Painted the shell and all jambs the original mist green.  Put in an original type interior, new tires, all new rubber, seals, and side glass.  All work was done in 4 months and came out stunning.

The car has the original 235 rebuilt and rebuilt Powerglide. Runs as new. It steers and stops as new. It is solid and makes no noise or squeaks.  The car has been to 5 shows and cruises and attracts great crowds. This is a keeper.
