TRUCK BODY
Cab Attachment to Frame
The truck cab is all-steel construction with mountings that provide a secure, yet flexible, attachment to the chassis frame.
The cab mounting of the l-1/2-ton truck is illus-
trated in Fig. 84. The mounting consists of four through-bolts on each side with fabric rubber in­sulation between the cab sill and the top of the frame side member to absorb shock. In order to prevent wrenching or twisting of the cab as the truck moves over uneven terrain or road, the two rear mounting bolts on each side of the cab are spring-loaded, as shown in Fig. 84.
