6. While
holding rod on end of parking brake lever cable to prevent twisting, tighten
cable adjusting nut at cable sheave until rear brake cable is taut. |
7. Back off adjusting screw at
each wheel 15 notches. If shoes drag on drums, back off adjusting
screw one or two additional notches. Install adjusting hole covers in all
brake backing plates. |
